This is a key example of how social media is exploding into niches. There are seven different social networks revolving around wine on Mashable’s list:

The strange thing about all seven of the sites above is that they really don’t have any strong method of monetization or viral marketing, and I haven’t seen any of them co-marketed on sites and portals that would make ideal partners for them. Such great ideas seem to be appearing left and right, but which ones will climb to the top and establish themselves as “king of the niche?”
