Enterprise

123 Social Media utilizes a wide range of platforms for enterprise accounts.

Unlike many other companies in this industry, we do not “push” a product. We do not have a “product”

123 Social Media does have expertise, knowledge, and talent.

We use this understanding of the changing marketplace to implement solutions that work for specific client needs. For some that may be a custom application, a few may need a “white label” platform licensed from a technology provider, while many may find their needs satisfied by utilizing open source platforms such as Wordpress.

123 Social Media is an “on-demand” expert. We deploy Web 2.0 (3.0 or 4.0) technologies to achieve real business benefits. Our end goal is to leverage user-generated content: blogs, wikis, video, instant messaging, podcasts, RSS, social networking, photos, forums, discussion groups, etc. to cultivate a business objective. For some clients, this may be marketing or public relations. For others it may be internal communications or customer satisfaction.

THINGS WE BELIEVE IN

Your Branding - We believe that most companies developing social media campaigns need to have brand control. At the end of the day, you should not be bound to a hosting company or technology provider who can hold your company hostage with its own information. If your company is going to invest time in creating something worthwhile, it should be yours. Enterprise tools and projects need to weigh the merits and flaws of using platforms that are on hosted solutions or pre-existing community networks.

Customized for Your Needs- every social media campaign has a different objective. This is not simple marketing. There are complex items that any client should be making educated decisions on, ranging from how the project interacts with culture, brand, reputation, search mechanics, online traffic, real world campaigns, word of mouth, usability, adaptability, and profitability. Some companies may opt to use pre-fabricated services to keep costs minimal, while others may opt to develop custom programs that work with larger social platforms like Facebook.

Ease of Use, for everyone- regardless of how big or small your project is, it will be a dismal failure if usability and technical aptitude are not kept in mind for both the audience and staff members using it. The two greatest reasons that a social media project fails are A) the community doesn’t know how to use it or B) the company staff doesn’t know how to use it. Either case is an instant recipe for failure. Community users should feel relaxed and encouraged to utilize the system, and administrators should be empowered to take on the daily changes that your business faces.

An education approach to social media- if you are reading this, you’ve made the choice to move into social media. In today’s age, that places you in the 5% category of business professionals that are learning to utilizing this amazing technology and culture. Depending on the audience involved, you may find other like-minded individuals who “hop on board” or you may find resistance at every turn. In either case, the key to moving forward is to educate, promote, and converse with that audience. In most cases, even the most energetic employee doesn’t have the technical knowledge to move to the next level of performance.
